Cardi B reveals son’s name on his first birthday: What to know about Grey Marsean Diggs

Cardi B gave fans a special glimpse of her youngest child on his first birthday. The rapper shared the first public photos of her son’s face and revealed his full name, Grey Marsean Diggs, in an Instagram post on November 4.

The birthday post also included an emotional message about motherhood. Cardi expressed how she felt on her pregnancy and explained how her son gave her strength during one of the most uncertain periods of her life.

The photos showed Grey at a Grey’s Anatomy-themed first birthday celebration. One picture featured him in a doctor’s outfit.

In her Instagram post, Cardi B shared an emotional message for Grey and spoke about her pregnancy.

“I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me a extra strength,” she wrote.

She added, “I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life!”

The rapper also said her son gave a new meaning to a “Grey day.” She praised his smile, laugh and “precious spirit.”

How many children does Cardi B have?

Grey is the youngest and the fourth child of Cardi B. The singer also has three children with her ex-husband rapper Offset a daughter named Kulture, a son named Wave and another daughter named Blossom.

The couple started dating in 2025. They went public with their relationship in June after months of dating rumours, reports ELLE.

In September 2025, Cardi announced she was pregnant with Diggs’ baby. In November 2025, the couple welcomed a son named Grey.

But the couple reportedly broke up in February this year. A source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that they had split. It was reported they had also unfollowed each other on Instagram.
