Cara Delevingne becomes the new face of Chanel spring-summer eyewear
She had said adieu to the profession last year. But British star Cara Delevingne seems to not be done entirely with modelling. Delevingne, who is now concentrating on her acting career, has been announced as the new face of Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2016 eyewear campaign. Sporting cat-eye and oval frames, the model has been featured in a campaign which was shot by French designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Some of the eyewear features iconic Chanel touches like quilted effect as well as embellished camellias. On her decision to return to modelling, Delevingne says, "Over time, I came to realise that work and getting others’ approval isn't the most important thing."

Though the British model is not new to Chanel, as the latest face of its eyewear line she joins the likes of Kristen Stewart, Lily Rose Depp and Laetitia Cast.
