This became the fifth highest-grossing movie of 1989 featuring Sridevi, Rajinikanth & Sunny Deol in lead roles. The movie, loosely based on 1973's 'Seeta Aur Geeta', was well-received by critics and appreciated by the fans.

'Phool Bane Angaray' (1991)

Right after the release, this Rajinikanth and Rekha-starrer became a box office hit. This woman-oriented movie (directed KC Bokadia) talks depths about empowerment, and is much ahead of its time.

'Hum' (1991)

After the success of 'Chaalbaaz' & 'Phool Bane Angaray', Rajini delivered another box office hit with 'Hum' - which became the second highest-grossing movie of 1991. Directed by Mukul S Anand, the star cast included Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Kimi Katkar, Shilpa Shirodkar, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, among others.

'Robot' (2010)

Originally named 'Enthiran' in Tamil, this movie is a visual delight with star performers like Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles & AR Rahman with his brilliant soundtracks. On the release date, 'Enthiran' was dubbed in Hindi & Telugu, and were titled 'Robot' & 'Robo', respectively. In 2010, it became India's most-expensive film, and character 'Chitti' (played by Rajini) became a household name.

Ra.One (2011)
