Can 'Baahubali 2' live up to the expectations set by its blockbuster predecessor?
Director SS Rajamouli's magnum opus ' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is set to release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi on April 28. The first part in the franchise, ' Baahubali: The Beginning' broke all box office records and even made it to the Guinness Records.

The first part of the war epic had earned over Rs 500 crore worldwide, after having raked in Rs 150 crore at the box office over its opening weekend itself.


The epic fantasy film will be the first Indian film to be released in 4K High Definition format. Reportedly, over 200 screens across the country are being upgraded to use 4K projectors. It will be released across 6,500 screens countrywide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The maximum screen count for any big Bollywood film till date has been 4,500.




The film has already been declared a gold mine by industry experts.

Whether Rajamouli's upcoming historical drama, which cost over Rs 250 crore to make, will match the expectations generated by its epic predecessor, only time will tell.
