Good news for tattoo enthusiasts or those who like tattoos but have avoided getting them due to pain: tattooing will now be painless and less time-consuming than before!
But how will this be possible? Scientists have invented microneedles which experts can use on the skin to imprint a design. This way, neither any blood will come out nor will the tattoo-doer feel any pain. Moreover, these needles can be self-administered.
As of now, the use of these microneedles is wholly medical. But with time, the inventors can release them to be used in tattoo parlours so that tattoo enthusiasts can opt for a painless tattoo.
Besides making medical tattoos more popular and accessible, these microneedles will make cosmetic tattoos popular as well due to their ease of use.
Some Details About Tattoos Everyone Should Know To make a tattoo, an expert pierces your skin 50–3000 times every minute, depending on the design. They use large needles to pour the ink onto the skin's surface. This way, one tattoo takes a lot of time, and the process is very painful.

But in the case of microneedles, the tattoo ink will be in the dissolvable matrix. They act like a pixel when arranged in a particular pattern or shape, and the experts can use a different colour on those needles to imprint the design.
