Tamil superstar Suriya starts shooting for new movie, seeks blessings from fans
Tamil superstar Suriya stars in director Siva's 42nd film. The actor took to Twitter to seek his fan's blessings and support.

Tamil cinema superstar Suriya has teamed up with filmmaker Siva for his 42nd film. Production on the film with the working title 'Suriya 42,' began on Wednesday. Actor Suriya used the social networking site Twitter to inform his followers and ask for their support. Suriya said, "Need all your blessings..!!" beside a snapshot of himself, Siva, and the composer Devi Sri Prasad.
Siva has shared Suriya's enthusiasm for working with him. He wrote with the support of our followers, media partners, and the grace of God, we are excited to launch our new endeavor. He also expressed his gratitude for Surya, studiogreen (production house), and UV creations.
This will be Siva and Suriya's very first time working together on a project. It has been reported that Nayanthara will play the role of the female lead in the movie, even though the filmmakers have not disclosed the specifics of the cast and crew for the project. Studio Green is going to provide financial backing for the project.
Suriya is currently basking in the acclaim he has received due to his performance in Soorarai Pottru, which won the National Award for Best Actor. On top of that, his cameo appearance as 'Rolex' in Kamal Haasan's Vikram has become an enormous hit among fans, and they eagerly anticipate his return in either the sequel to Kaithi or the sequel to Vikram, both directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Suriya was most recently seen making a cameo role in Madhavan's film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
In the meantime, he is currently working on a project with the filmmaker Bala that goes by the name Vaanagan and is nearing the finish of its filming schedule. In addition to this, he is featured in Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal in the role of a jallikattu champion. This is another one of his winnings.
