After Shailesh Lodha pulled out of the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, it was evident that the producers would rope in a new face to fill the shoes. Now, the latest promo of the superhit Hindi sitcom from the official Instagram account of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has confirmed the same.

What is all about the new promo of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?
The sitcom producers have recently posted a promo in which the new face of the Mehta sahab character has been teased. The promo doesn’t show the entire face of Taarak Mehta, and this has kept the fans guessing. But most think it is the famous actor Sachin Shroff. The promo shows Anjali (Taarak’s wife) going somewhere, and suddenly she hears a voice chanting "Ganpati Bappa Morya" while holding an aarti in a temple.

The video captioned ‘Aakhir Kaun Kar Raha hai Ganpati Bappa ki aarti, Jaane ke liye dekhte rahiye”, which translates as ‘who is performing the aarti of Ganpati? Stay tuned to watch #TaarakMehtaKaOoltahChasmah from Monday to Saturday at 8:30 pm.

As soon as the promo was posted, Instagram users started reacting to the post, with one of them saying, ‘great move! The show should continue, while another commented the opposite and said that the old cast was the best and the show would be spoiled by introducing a new cast. It must be noted that apart from Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta (Anjali Mehta) was also replaced by Sunayana Fozdar back in 2020. Earlier, Disha Vakani (Daya Jethalal Gada), Gurucharan Singh (Roshan Singh Sodhi), Bhavya Gandhi (Tapu), and Nidhi Bhanushali (Sonu Aatmaram Bhide) also quit the show. Dilip Joshi, aka Jethalal, continues to play the lead role in the show.


Why did Shailesh Lodha quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?
Shailesh Lodha reportedly quit the show in May 2022 due to differences with the producer, as he was not happy with the contract. He also raised concerns about his dates not being adequately scheduled. Earlier, the producer of the show, Asit Kumarr Modi, said that they are looking for a talented actor, and Shailesh can also return. Asit also said that he never feels good whenever an actor quits the show.
