Actor Sushmita Sen expressed joy at her brother Rajeev Sen and sister-in-law Charu Asopa's decision to end their divorce.

Sushmita responded to Rajeev and Charu's social media announcement that they have decided to work on their marriage, saying she is delighted for them and Ziana, their daughter.



Charu Asopa revealed on her Instagram account on Wednesday, September 1, that she and Rajeev had chosen to give their marriage another shot. She had captioned the photo, 'Marriages are built in paradise, but it is up to us to make them work. Yes, we went ahead and proclaimed the breakup of our marriage because we realised we had hit a dead end with no way out. Divorce was an option we considered, and we won't deny it. We are delighted to inform that we have chosen to preserve our marriage forever.' Rajeev had posted the same statement on his Instagram page.

Sushmita Sen, Charu's sister-in-law, was among those who congratulated her on her promotion. In the comments section, the actor said, 'I am overjoyed for you all!!! Shona, dugga dugga!!!' Charu also responded to Sushmita's tweet, writing, 'Thank you didi, love you lots.'

A day after Charu and Rajeev made the announcement, she posted a video on her YouTube account detailing the family's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Rajeev was also seen attempting to insert a clip into their daughter's hair. The two laughed as they joked about him not doing the same.
