Singer Arjun Kanungo ties knot with longtime sweetheart Carla Dennis

There's a new Bollywood couple in town after Arjun Kanungo married longtime girlfriend Carla Dennis on Wednesday. Arjun, an internationally acclaimed singer, announced that he was marrying his best friend in less than a week. It all came true on Wednesday after a video from the wedding made rounds on social media. In the video, which was shared by fan clubs, the couple were seen taking the pheras. On Thursday, Arjun made the news official by sharing official pictures from the ceremony for the public.

Arjun wore an ivory sherwani and Carla a red bridal lehenga. In most of the photos, the couple are seen posing on their big day. One shot in particular had all fans swooning as the couple shared a kiss after the wedding. The wedding was held according to Hindu customs.




Prior to the wedding, the couple also had an intimate mehendi ceremony with family and close friends. Actor Bobby Deol was also a part of the mehendi.

Last week, Arjun took to Instagram to announce that the couple was getting married soon after dating for more than seven years. Arjun shared a photo of the pair with a caption, which proclaimed that the wedding was to take place in less than a week. In the caption, Arjun asked his beau if she was ready for the big day. Carla promptly responded with a yes.

Prior to tying the knot, Arjun talked to the media about the big day and how dating Carla had changed his perspective on marriage. He said that he never saw himself settling down, but Carla changed his life. Like any perfect partner would, Arjun credited his better half for all the success their relationship had seen and the marriage as well. He credited Carla for never forcing him to get married.

Despite wanting to get married, she had almost given up on it knowing only all too well that Arjun shared a different thought process when it came to marriages. Carla was willing to let go of her dreams as long as it ensured their happiness as a couple. Seeing Carla adjust and the compromise she was making for a happy relationship, Arjun realized that he was being stubborn. And with that realization, things changed, and from now on until forever, the couple are on a journey to find eternity.
