Samantha's father responded to the comments of love and support by several fans and followers and thanked them for their concern. He added, "Yes, I sat down for a long time to overcome the emotions." But he felt that human life is short; one cannot sulk with emotions and feelings for a long time and get bogged down.

Joseph Prabhu also shared some old photographs from Samantha’s wedding. The throwback photos show Samantha in a white wedding gown with Chaitanya in a black tuxedo. The couple were captured posing happily with family and guests.

The Marriage

It was on the sets of the film Ye Maya Chesave in 2010 that Samantha and Naga Chaitanya fell in love. Their love blossomed in the next few years, and finally, in 2017, the lovebirds got married. It was a fairy-tale wedding in Goa, and the couple followed Hindu and Christian rituals.

The Separation

The celebrity marriage, however, did not last long, and Samantha and Naga Chaitanya filed for divorce after only four years in October 2021.

The couple announced their decision to separate by issuing statements on their respective social media accounts in October.
