Salman Khan's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali re-christened to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

The highly anticipated upcoming movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which features Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has a new name – Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film was earlier rumoured to get the name Bhaijaan. However, the news was finally announced via a teaser the Sultan actor shared on his social media.

Apart from Salman Khan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan features Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, and Raghav Juyal, among others.

The film will also have a cameo appearance for superstar Ram Charan. Pooja and Shehanaaz also shared the teaser on their social media handles. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be directed by Farhad Samji and will be a Salman Khan Films production.


Salman Khan has been teasing the movie for a long time. In the teaser launched on Monday morning, Salman Khan can ride a bike in a mountainous pass, like in Leh Ladakh.



The actor can be seen sporting long hair and a stubby beard, accentuating his macho appeal. A couple of weeks ago, Salman Khan shared a BTS picture on Instagram, captioned Leh… Ladakh…

According to reports, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be released on December 30. Salman was last seen in the Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Antim, featuring his brother-in-law and sister Arpita’s husband, Aayush Sharma. Upcoming projects of the Dabangg star include the third edition of the Tiger franchise alongside Katrina Kaif and Kick 2 starring Jacqueline Fernandez.

The actor recently announced that he would also be making the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, one of his few modern-era movies that also received critical praise. Released in 2015, the movie on the controversial India-Pakistan conflict featured legendary actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan, is likely to be directing the sequel, Pawan Putra Bhaijaan.
