Ricky Martin sues nephew, alleges he made him lose millions. Check out the details
Ricky Martin has sued his nephew and said that he has allegedly made him lose millions. His lawsuit alleges that his nephew extorted, stalked, harassed, besieged, and persecuted the Puerto Rican Ricky Matin for economic reasons.

Even though the nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sánchez Martin, admitted he was never sexually assaulted by Ricky Martin under oath, the harassment continued. Martin's nephew had taken legal assistance to accuse Martin falsely, and a Puerto Rican judge issued a restraining order against the singer, which later got suspended.
Losing Millions
According to the lawsuit, the allegations forced Ricky Martin to lose an income of around $10 million in the form of canceled projects and concerts and $20 million in reputation damage. His nephew's attorney was not available for comment. It is not clear whether the attorney would continue to represent the nephew. The lawsuit states that the nephew sent around 10 messages a day from October 2021 to January 2022, which was meaningless and without any purpose.
The lawsuit also alleges the nephew publicized Martin's private number on Instagram, which led to Ricky changing his number. According to the lawsuit, the nephew was silent for many months and suddenly popped up asking for protection against the singer. The lawsuit also says that the nephew lied about having a romantic relationship with the singer, which is far from the truth. Two other restraining orders have already been filed against the nephew in an unrelated and separate stalking case.
