South superstar Ravi Teja's movie "Ramarao On Duty" has hit the small screen with its OTT debut on September 15. The movie is making its OTT debut roughly six weeks after its theatrical release.
"Ramarao On Duty" is the latest project of megastar Ravi Teja. The movie "Ramarao On Duty" will stream on the online platform SonyLIV. Viewers can watch the movie on SonyLIV in four languages - Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
The official Twitter handle of SonyLIV shared the news of the film's global digital debut. The lead female characters in the movie are played by actors Rajisha Vijayan and Divyansha Kaushik. Venu Thottempudi is also in the lead role in the film. Actors Pavitra Lokesh, Chaitanya Krishna, Naresh, and Rahul Ramkrishna are in the supporting roles. Sarath Mandava has directed "Ramarao On Duty," and Sudhakar Cherukuri's SLV Cinemas and RT Team Works have produced it. Sharath Mandava also has written the story of the movie.
It worked on merchandise related to Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's “Kochadaiiyaan“ along with mobile phone manufacturer Karbonn.
In the film, Ravi Teja portrayed the character of B Ramarao, a civil officer who want to fight corruption for the betterment of the impoverished. The plot of the movie is set in the 1990s. "Ramarao On Duty" hit the theatres on July 29 but was unable to impress the audience. The box-office earnings of this action thriller were not significant, and it received mixed reviews from viewers and critics.
