Our heartiest congratulations to Rakesh Roshan on his 73rd birthday! All these years, the veteran film actor and director has not only seen ups and down in the Hindi film industry but also in health after he was diagnosed with cancer in 2018.
How Did Rakesh Roshan come to know he has cancer?
• Initially, he had a tiny blister, which did not reduce even after medication.
• Though there was no pain or itching, the ENT specialist asked for a biopsy, and the report came positive on December 15, 2018.
• When the hospital informed him, he was in his son, superstar Hrithik Roshan’s house, and as with cancer, anybody gets scared. So, they were also aprehensive initially, but Rakesh Roshan chose to stay positive.
Every day, he went to the gym with his son. Even on the morning of January 7, the surgery day, he hit the gym and posted a picture with Hrithik on social media. According to Hrithik Roshan, his father is the strongest person.
The germ of the idea for the movie happened after Roshan's wife showed a picture of Lord Ganesha that had the face of 'Krrish 4'.

A. The surgery took place in Hurkisondas Hospital, Mumbai.
Hrithik Roshan drove his father to the hospital from home. Rakesh Roshan was admitted at 3 pm, and the surgery lasted about five hours. The surgery was successful, and when the doctors released him from the hospital, he attended radiation or chemo treatment regularly and then went to the office.
