Rajinikanth begins shoot for his upcoming film Jailer. Check first look

Thalaivar's 169th titled as Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Superstar Rajinikanth has been rolled for shoot today.

Megastar Rajinikanth's first look for Thalaivar 169 is out. The film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is currently in production. According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would play Rajnikanth's wife in this film.

Sun Pictures shared a captivating poster on Twitter revealing Rajinikanth's intense first look as Jailer. The caption read, "#Jailer begins his action today!"

Reportedly, the film shooting will kick off today. In addition to Ramya Krishna and Priyanka Arul Mohan, they are also playing important roles in this film. The film will be produced by Sun Pictures with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will be released in cinemas in the year 2023.

Rajinikanth can be seen sporting an intense and fierce expression on his face in the poster tweeted by Sun Pictures. He wears a crisp white shirt paired with brown-coloured trousers and puts his hands behind his back. The poster received rave comments and fire emoticons from fans, with one of them saying they were desperately awaiting the comeback of their favourite megastar.

Rajinikanth, who rules millions of hearts as the Megastar of the era, will mark his 169th film with the commencement of the shoot for Jailer. This is Rajinikanth's first venture with Nelson Dilipkumar as the director. The release date of this movie is expected to be April 2023, as per several media reports.
