Producer Shalini Chaudhary receives 'death threats' from Gangs of Wasseypur actor Zeishan Quadri, files FIR

The Gangs of Wasseypur's Zeishan Quadri, the actor-writer, is booked for cheating and threatening producer Shalini Chaudhary.

Producer Shalini Chaudhary has filed an FIR against actor-writer Zeishan Quadri for threatening to steal her Audi and also giving her death threats. According to the reports, Shalini Chaudhary admitted that Zeishan Quadri had contacted her for working together to develop a show. Zeishan Quadri had also sought permission to use her Audi car. However, Zeishan Quadri did not pick up her calls soon after she gave her car back. Shalini Chaudhary then found out that Quadri had sold her Audi A6 for a sum of Rs 12 lakh.

Shalini Chaudhary said that she was introduced to Quadri in 2017. Zeishan Quadri then said that he was in need of finance for the show, Crime Patrol. They did a movie called Halahal and a Crime Patrol episode together, which made her gain some confidence in him.

Shalini Chaudhary claimed that he requested Shalini's Audi for meetings after approaching her to co-produce a sitcom. She said that she trusted him and hence gave him her car for some days. He took her Audi A6. Later, Shalini repeatedly attempted to connect with Quadri, but he avoided her. Chaudhary also called Priyanka Bassi, Quadri's wife, but she also avoided her calls. When Shalini Chaudhary messaged him on WhatsApp, he told her that he was in the Bombay High Court. He went to the Bombay High Court seeking bail after someone named Jatin Sethi filed a section 420, 406 fraud complaint against him for Rs 1.5 crore. Later, even after repeatedly sending messages, there was no revert from his end.

Chaudhary later learned that Quadri had sold her Audi A6 for Rs 12 lakh using false paperwork and a phoney signature. When Shalini confronted Quadri about it and told him she would sue him, the writer began to threaten her and trying to persuade her in various ways.

Quadri made several threatening calls and even said Shalini would be killed when she told him that she would file a complaint against him.

Then Shalini learned from the RTO office that her Audi A6 was sold with a Chandigarh number and NOC was deducted after forgery of paperwork and signs. She also received a call from Zeishan's attorney telling her that because she wouldn't be getting the car back, she should settle the dispute. She later got in contact with DCP Vishal Thakur. Shalini promptly lodged the FIR, and she appreciated his assistance.
