Pink Venom showcases deathly side of famous K-pop group BLACKPINK

Much to their fans’ delight, Pink Venom, a pre-released track by the K-pop group, is released today, August 19. Further, in September, the fans will be able to see a follow-up as BLACKPINK's second full-length album will be released. Pink Venom is no stranger to the typical BLACKPINK style we have seen over the years, right chords being hit along with banger music.

Today, BLACKPINK members addressed the press at a press conference convened in South Korea, unveiling that there are several ideas in place for their return. When asked about Pink Venom, Jennie stated that they desired to communicate their individuality in the song powerfully, which imitates the title of their album, which is 'Born Pink’. She added that pink and poison have opposing images; thus, we thought they made us think of each other.

Lisa emphasised that the set is wonderful in the music video, and there is an impressive dance segment at the climax. They also expressed their gratitude to BLINKS for supporting them in achieving their sixth anniversary recently.

Their fans, famously known as BLINKS, have been going crazy while using social media to trend phrases and tags such as ‘PINK VENOM out today, and ‘BLACKPINK is back, making sure the group gets a wonderful comeback. After almost two years, it will mark the release of their first album as ‘THE ALBUM’; BLACKPINK’s previous full-length album was released in 2020. The K-pop group had made its debut under YG Entertainment in 2016, and now, BLACKPINK members will be taking on their greatest world tour after the release of ‘Born Pink’.
