Mahima Chaudhry to play a crucial part in 'Emergency' movie. Check out what it is

Pupul Jayakar, a cultural activist and author, will be portrayed by actor Mahima Chaudhry in the movie 'Emergency'. She explained that Pupul Jayakar was a childhood friend of Indira Gandhi, who also wrote her autobiography, therefore her scenes are particularly the ones where audience will get to see the great leader's non-political side.
Kangana Ranaut will portray former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the movie, and Anupam Kher will portray renowned leader J.P. Narayan. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the late politician, who held the position of prime minister for three times, will be portrayed by Shreyas Talapade.
Mahima, who will potray Pupul Jayakar, said that working along with Kangana Ranaut will prove to be a great experience since she dons so many hats with ease. The character of Indira Gandhi will be an important one. The movie is directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut herself. Mahima continued that she gets a lot of strength by watching her and how she functions.
