Liger box office advance booking: Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey starrer gets off the blocks

Actor Vijay Deverakonda is making his Hindi film debut with his upcoming action flick 'Liger' which is all set to hit the screens on August 25. Ananya Pandey will be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this Karan Johar-produced film.

The multilingual movie has already created much hype on the internet with the songs and the ‘almost nude’ film's poster along with creating some social media troubles surrounding the film. Leaving this behind, the current advance booking scenario suggests the film to be a promising and encouraging one at least in the initial days.

Advance booking reports of Liger's Box Office:

Vijay Deverakonda's Bollywood debut film Liger which is directed by Puri Jagannath has already grossed Rs.1.70 cr for the first day’s advance booking in Telugu, according to trade reports.

In a tweet from Andhra Box Office, they said that the film is going for a "Solid Start for Telugu" as per advanced trends. Also added that for most Hindi films there isn’t a much-advanced booking market and this film Liger is no exception.

According to Sacnilk, Liger is expected to break the record of other films by tier 2 actors and also with a good margin.

Rs 3.66 Crore for Telugu, Ticket sold- 199938
Rs 12 Lakh for Hindi, Ticket sold- 5083/ If block seats are included[ Premiere] then Rs 25 Lakh
Rs 1 Lakh for Tamil, Ticket sold- 723 / If block seats are included [Premiere] then Rs 3.5 Lakh

So the total advance booking stood at Rs 3.79 crore.

In Liger, Vijay starts as an MMA fighter boxer beside Mike Tyson who will be playing an extended cameo in this film which has triggered a huge interest among fans and film buffs. As per speculations, the film can feature some high-octane action scenes.

The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi languages. Apart from Vijay and boxing legend Mike Tyson, Ramya Krishnan and Ananya Pandey will be there in pivotal roles in Liger.
