The latest season of the widely watched Sony TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati has, at last, found its first crorepati. Kavita Chawla, a housewife based in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, has become the first person in season 13, who correctly answered the Rs 1 crore question. After winning Rs. 1 crore, she is fully prepared to face the next question, worth Rs. 7.5 crore.
In a recent interview, Kavita shared her experiences. She said she was nervous and excited about her life-changing moment. She also talked about her interaction with Amitabh Bachchan, her 21-year wait to get to the hot seat, and various other things.
What did Kavita Chawla say about interacting with Amitabh Bachchan?
Winner Kavita Chawla termed her experience of meeting Amitabh Bachchan, the TV show host, as "shaandar," which means splendid. She stated that the megastar is the most humble person she has ever met and that he tries his best to make the contestants feel comfortable. She added that she had no filters while talking to him and talked to him frankly. She also said that sitting opposite the country's superstar, she had a very ‘Shaandaar’ experience, the reports said.

Kavita Chawla said that when she saw the show’s trailer in the year 2000, she was amazed by the idea that people could earn money and respect based on their knowledge. Her son was born the same year, so she couldn’t focus on her studies, and he had set her mind to come to the show. She used to study with her son until she was eight and cited that "I studied from his books more than he did," the media reports said.
