The first look of actor Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the movie 'Emergency' was revealed by actor Kangana Ranaut on Instagram. The film also stars actor Anupam Kher.

Kangana posted the first look of the ‘dynamic’ Milind Soman as Sam Manekshaw. Milind is well-clad in a uniform and sported the signature moustache of Sam Manekshaw.
In her Instagram post, Kangana presented Milind as the Indo-Pak war hero Sam Manekshaw, who was the distinguished Field Marshal of the Indian Army. She called Sam a charmer, honest and visionary leader. Anupam Kher, who is also a part of the cast of the film 'Emergency', called the post 'brilliant'.
Actor Milind Soman also took to Instagram to post his photo and wrote that he was honoured to be a part of movie 'Emergency' and play the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who led India to victory in the Indo-Pak war in 1971 with his wit and gallantry.
Anupam Kher is playing JP Narayan and Mahima Chaudhry will essay the role of Indira Gandhi’s confidante and cultural activist Pupul Jayakar.
The story comes across as a watershed moment in the history of Indian politics and is written and directed by actor Kangana Ranaut.
The dialogues and screenplay of the movie have been written by Ritesh Shah. 'Emergency' is a Manikarnika Films presentation, produced by Kangana Ranaut and Renu Pitti. The commencement of the shooting of the project marks Kangana's first solo directorial venture.
