Is Electronic Arts developing 'Iron Man' single-player game? All you need to know

Besides the Black Panther game, Electronic Arts are developing a single-player title based on the famous superhero of Marvel – Iron Man.

There has been a rumor that Electronic Arts is in the process of developing an Iron Man single-player video game. Currently, EA is developing multiple single-player entries, and one of them is seemingly based on the iconic armored superhero from Marvel.

The game will have a single-player shooter. Journalist Jeff Grubb confirmed the news during a Game Mess game. There he revealed that the publisher was developing another Marvel fame after one week of the news about a Black Panther title surfaced.

Grubb never revealed which Marvel character the forthcoming EA title was based on. However, Tom Henderson, the XFire reporter, claims that the character would be Iron Man. While he had heard some rumors about Iron Man's inclusion, he never had anything concrete.

His Tweet clearly stated that he wanted to share the news under the 'rumor' category. Henderson already has a massive reputation for leaking news like FIFA 23's cross-play and features of the women's league earlier this year.

No word on the plot or mechanics of the video game has been found. However, considering the trend of the latest games in the market, gamers can expect an open-world system, given Iron Man's superpower to fly across vast stretches using his boosters.

On the other hand, the Black Panther game is also expected to be an open-world entry. A Seattle-based studio is developing the game. It is called Project Rainier, headed by Monolith VP Kevin Stephens. It is worth mentioning that Stephens previously worked on the Middle Earth titles, including Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor.

If things go well, the single-player video game of Iron Man will mark the third entry for Iron Man, followed by Iron Man VR of 2020 and Marvel Avengers.

Square Enix shared the co-op title long before selling it out for NFTs. Due to some performance issues and insipid gameplay, the title received a mixed reception after launching.
