A Gujarati teenager has set a Guinness World Record by spinning 22 times on a wave board in one minute. Entirely self-taught, Hardik Raghuwanshi informed his father, Ajay Raghuwanshi, that he intended to try and break a world record.

The old record of 18 spins, which Javier Lopez of California, USA, held, was surpassed by Hardik Raghuwanshi by doing 360-degree spins 22 times.

The seventh-grader at Bright Day School stated that neither he nor any other student had formal training in using the caster board before setting the record. On his Instagram profile, the lively boy often posts a video of himself using the caster board. Despite not receiving coaching or professional instruction, this is a fantastic accomplishment.

A Desire to Break the World Record

Raghuwanshi asserted that after three years of caster board practice, he got a life-changing vision.

He claimed that when performing a task one day, he rotated the caster board in a circle, letting him understand that he could perform 360-degree rotations. After being astounded by his abilities, he told his father about his ambition to attempt a Guinness World Record.

With his eyes focused on the world record, Hardik continued to train for nearly a year without seeking professional training. Since these resources were still restricted due to the COVID-19 breakout, it wasn't easy for him. Additionally, he fell a couple of times while practicing on the caster board.

According to his father, he became the first person from Vadodara to set a world record on January 22 in the athletic division. Hardik wanted to attempt the most 360-degree rotations possible, but the GWR "would not allow it on the principle of endurance."
