Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: Here's how actor Salman Khan celebrated the festival

Hindi cinema superstar Salman Khan is a renowned devotee of Ganesh. The actor is often seen dancing, performing aartis, and partying during Ganesh Visarjan during the annual Ganesh Chaturthi festival. During this year’s Chaturthi, Salman Khan was seen performing aarti at the residence of her sister and her husband, Arpita, and Aayush Sharma.

Salman Khan, 56, was also seen dancing during the pooja. The Sultan shared a video on his Instagram page where we can see members of the Khan family and actor Ritesh Deshmukh performing aarti at the venue.

Other celebrities who attended the pooja at Arpita and Aayush’s house include Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Genelia D’Souza, and others.


Salman is known for being a family man and proved it again this time. The Dabangg actor is currently shooting for his next movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, earlier titled Bhaijaan. However, the actor managed to take time out of his busy schedule to attend the ceremony at her sister’s.

The upcoming movie will have Salman Khan in the lead alongside Pooja Hegde. The cast also includes Shehnaaz Gill, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, and Raghav Juyal. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will hit the screens on December 30, 2022.



Salman Khan also has a few projects lined up, which include the next edition of the Tiger franchise with Katrina Kaif. The movie will also mark the return of Emraan Hashmi to the big screen. The actor is also a part of the highly-anticipated Telugu film Godfather, which features superstar Chiranjeevi.

Salman Khan was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth, which featured his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, Jissu Sengupta, and Mahima Makwana. The movie, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, was a box office dud. In fact, his last film in the lead, Radhe, was also a massive failure at the box office.
