Drishyam 3 is confirmed officially, and the fans are super excited already. Fans have been crying for the third edition of the blockbuster franchise, and they have it now. Actor Mohanlal starrer was confirmed during the Mazhavil Entertainment by producer Antony Perumbavoor.

Rumors of Drishyam 3 have been doing on the internet soon after the second part, Drishyam 2: The Resumption, was released on Amazon Prime in February 2021. The first edition of the franchise was released in December 2013. Superstar Mohanlal played the lead character in both editions, which went on to become cult classics. Mohanlal was critically appraised for his notable performances in the two movies.

Like the first two parts, Drishyam 3 will also feature Mohanlal in the lead role. Director Jeethu Joseph will be looking to repeat the success of the first two movies and maintain the thrills that make Drishyam so successful. In the first movie, Georgekutty, played by Mohanlal, takes unconventional measures to safeguard his family after his wife accidentally kills the son of the IG Police. The second movie sees the resurfacing of the investigation and the sheer brilliance of Georgekutty to protect his family once again.

While the original Drishyam starring Mohanlal, was made in Malayalam, the movie has been adapted in over six languages – Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Sinhala, and Mandarin. The Hindi version of the movie with the same name featured Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Rajath Kapoor. Ajay Devgn currently working on the sequel, scheduled to release on November 18, 2022. The Hindi version of Drishyam 2 will be directed by Abhishek Pathak.

The new of Drishyam 3 being officially confirmed spread like wildfire on the internet, with Mohanlal fans going crazy. Many netizens tweeted that the "classic criminal" aka Georgekutty, was back. The crime-thriller has no confirmed release date as of yet.
