Vivek said they all talk about Queer activism, and then there are usually the first to make fun of the LGBTQ+ community. Vivek mentioned how Karan Johar's movies belittle and make fun of queer characters. He questioned that if they have to make fun, then why do they talk about LGBTQ activism?

Actor Kangana Ranaut also slammed Karan Johar. She said Karan Johar is only interested in other people's sex life than the scripts of the films. Kangana also went ahead to call the new movie Brahmāstra, a disaster.
