BTS vocalist Jin admits 'NO INTEREST' in pursuing acting. Here is why

Replying to a BTS ARMY on weverse, Kim Soek-Jin revealed that he has not thought of acting in movies or K-dramas.

Fans of South Korean boy band BTS wanted to watch their 'WorldWide Handsome' debut in his acting career. Recently, Jin of BTS attended two movie premieres in a single month as a VIP Guest. Ever since that, BTS ARMYs have been even more curious to know whether Jin would consider giving a kick start to his acting career.

'HUNT' and 'Emergency Declaration' were the two movies the star had recently attended; the latter with his fellow BTS member, Kim Taehyung(V).

Seokjin is the Visual center of Bangtan, and some might not know that he majored at Konkuk University in the Department of Film and Visual Arts as his bachelor's degree. Also. he has majored in Film with his master's degree from Hanyang Cyber University.

What was Jin's reply to ARMY?

Explaining the air, Jin replied, "I have seen some rumors that I will be acting… I don't know. Nothing as such is planned at all. Also, at present, I'm not interested in doing it either."

Since BTS member V debuted in acting in the K drama Hwarang, ARMYs wanted to see 'Actor Jin' showing off his acting talent. His reply to the rumors has left many ARMYs' hearts shattered. Now that Jin has denied the acting rumours, we would have to wait for the day he changes his mind and gets into the zone of acting.

Presently, Jin has joined a gaming company as an employee, to be more specific, as a game planner. Maple Story has hired Kim Soek-Jin as their game planner, and Jin was seen posting his employee ID on his Instagram. Earlier, too, in a youtube video uploaded by BngtanTV where they were celebrating ten years of BTS and announced their hiatus as a group, Jin spoke about his interest in games and gaming these days.

Jin has also been quite interested in cooking, and not to anyone's surprise, he is the eldest among the members of BTS and is one of the best cooks in the band, along with SUGA and Jungkook. Jin recently joined South Korea's top Chef Lee Yeon Bok in a cooking Vlog uploaded on BTS' Youtube channel BantanTv.

So, ARMYs will have to wait for their dreams of 'Actor Soek-Jin' to come true and enjoy watching 'Gamer Soek-Jin.'
