Just like every other year, Janmashtami was celebrated nationwide with great enthusiasm. Even though the festivities have ended, people are still posting pictures and videos of people participating in different events related to Janmashtami.

IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra is very active on the micro-blogging site.

Twitter enjoyed a good following and shared a video clip that featured an older woman enthusiastically climbing way up a human pyramid as a part of Dahi Handi celebrations in an area.


Kabra shared the video with the caption "The Incredible Dadi!".



It didn't take long for the video to be noticed by internet users. The original tweet shared by Kabra has more than 1,200 retweets. The video has garnered more than 236k views. Going by the comments on Twitter, one can say that the video has struck a chord with social media users and has inspired many.


While it is common to see young boys or men climbing up the human pyramid to break the handi or pot, most people seem to have been amused to see an older woman performing this act. It might just encourage many people of an older age group to participate in this event next year.

While one particular Twitter user, who has a verified handle, commented "Superb…", another user wrote, "Don't let age stop you from being your best." When mostly negative information goes viral on the internet, people seem happy to see something positive and inspiring getting popular. While the video has gone viral, one expects it to reach out to many more people in the coming days.
