After a lengthy wait of five years, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, the magnum opus of Ayan Mukerji, will finally be released on September 9. This movie, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in significant roles, is produced by Karan Johar under his production company Dharma Productions and stars real-life couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

The cast and crew of the upcoming movie are currently promoting their film. For this, Karan Johar, Mouni Roy, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor travelled to Hyderabad. At a promotional event, Karan touched the feet of Nagarjuna Akkineni, who was present alongwith Jr. NTR and S.S. Rajamouli.

Director Karan Johar claimed that the actor was a close friend of his father, Yash Johar. It takes a big heart to devote so much time and energy to a project, KJo observed. On the sets of the movie, he also became a fan. Nagarjuna Sir and his father, Yash Johar shared a great friendship, he said.

The director of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar, also provided support for the "Indian cinema business." During the ceremony, he declared that this was an Indian film. He said that one should not use any other names for it. People continue giving it a wood... Tollywood and Bollywood. He observed that we have left the woods and are no longer in them. We happily contribute to Indian films. Now, every single movie will be from Indian cinema, he said.
