'Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva', a brave step to create 'Astraverse', says Alia Bhatt

The Ajith Kumar-starrer 'Valimai' is set to hit the theatres month-end. The film, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Huma Qureshi, will be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. The H Vinoth-directorial Boney Kapoor production was scheduled to release on January 14, but was postponed amid a spike in the Covid cases.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani team up in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which is likely to stick to its previously announced release date of March 25. The movie is a sequel to Akshay Kumar's 2007 comic supernatural thriller drama of the same name. The film is helmed by Anees Bazmee.

The Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur-starrer 'Jersey' will finally release in theatres on April 14. It is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu hit by the same name. Earlier scheduled for December 31, 2021, it had to be pushed due to the Omicron scare.

The multilingual actioner 'KGF: Chapter 2' will clash with the Shahid Kapoor-starrer on April 14. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is a sequel to the 2018 film, and marks Sanjay Dutt's acting debut in Kannada. Starring Raveen Tandon, it will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

The Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Prithviraj' is slated to hit the big screen on June 10. The historical film, which also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The Chandraprakash Dwivedi-directorial was previously scheduled to release on January 21, but was postponed due to Covid.

Ranbir Kapoor's highly-anticipated film 'Shamshera' will hit theatres on July 22. The movie, which also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, is helmed by Karan Malhotra and is said to be a dacoit drama set in the 19th century.
