Big Boss 16: Trailer of Salman Khan's show is out. Premiere, release date, key details

The new season of Big Boss promises to be spicier than ever, as Salman Khan says in the trailer that the only rule is that there will be no rules. Big Boss 16 is expected to launch on the first weekend of October.

Promos for Big Boss season 16 are out, and fans cannot wait for the premiere. The makers of the controversial reality TV show have not yet confirmed the date of the launch. However, media reports suggest that Big Boss 16 will be aired on the first weekend of October.

Reports of the early October launch have brought joy to the fans as they won’t have to wait for too long. Like always, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be hosting the show, which promises to be spicier than ever. In fact, the first promo for the new season mentioned that Big Boss would himself play the game this time.

In another teaser, the Dabangg actor could be seen saying that the only rule for this season was that there were no rules. Salman Khan had an all-black sinister look in the teaser, which also shows behind-the-scenes shorts of the new season. Some of the celebrities confirmed for Big Boss 16 are:

Last Year’s Big Boss aired between October 2, 2021, and January 30, 2022. Prize money for the show was Rs. 40,00,000/- ($50,000 approx.). Maharashtrian actress Tejasswi Prakash won Big Boss 15, beating the controversy king Pratik Sehajpal.

Big Boss is one of the most popular reality TV shows in India of all time. Based on the Dutch Reality show Big Brother, the first season of Big Boss was launched in 2006 and was hosted by Bollywood superstar Arshad Warsi. Subsequently, Big Boss has seen many famous personalities host the show, including Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Farha Khan, and Sanjay Dutt.

Salman Khan has been a regular host for the show since Season 4. The new season will also have a bunch of commoners, which has been a theme for the last few seasons. Big Boss 16 will air on Colors TV.
