Bhuvan Bam-starrer Taaza Khabar's trailer released. See where to watch

Bhuvan Bam is starring in a Disney+ Hotstar series called "Taaza Khabar," where he is pitched as a sanitation worker highlighting the struggles the poor classes face but in a hilarious tone. This series is the first for YouTuber Bhuvan Bam and brings to the front the obstacles faced by poor people in Mumbai, India. Taaza Khabar is a comedy series; the subject matter is serious, and that is the USP of the series. Bam's BBKV Productions company has produced the series. The trailer has been released but it doesn't give much idea about the series.

However, it begins with Bam talking about what his mother told him he needed to do as a man. He should own a house, a horse, and a wife. But the character Vasya, acted by Bam himself, does something that is nowhere near his mother's teachings. The trailer is not very revealing but has been shot in the slum areas of Mumbai, where Bam is a sanitation worker. Rapid edit shots reveal his hostility with the local gangsters and affair with Shriya Pilgaonkar, who had acted in Mirzapur.

Taaza Khabar had earlier revealed that the lead character Vasya has certain powers that alleviate his social standing. Bam revealed that his character Vasya is protected by magical powers that guide him through life as if it were a miracle. He said there is emotion, action, and comedy to see and enjoy in the series, which is an entirely new role he has taken up by himself.

Himank Gaur is Taaza Khabar's director, making it his second with Bam after Dhindora in 2021. Taaza Khabar has stars like J.D Chakravarthy of Ek Villain Returns, Deven Bhojani, who acted in Agneepath, and Prathamesh Parab.

Disney+ Hotstar hasn't informed the timings of the new series yet, but it will be opening on this channel.
