Asus ZenFone 9 is likely to be launched in India on August 23, as per reports. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, has dual cameras at the back, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. Talking about the battery, the phone packs a mammoth 4,300mAh battery.
The phone is equipped with Dirac HD Sound dual stereo speakers, up to 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM. Sahil Karoul, a YouTuber, tweeted that the ZenFone 9 by Asus will launch on August 23 in India. Because Asus has trademark issues with the ZenFone moniker, the smartphone may be launched with the name Asus 9z in India.
The smartphone is the company's flagship smartphone and contains two configuration options along with three color variations.

- Asus ZenFone 9 has Android 12 and a 5.9-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Samsung AMOLED display.
- It has HDR10+ certifications and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display. The smartphone gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood with an LPDDR5 RAM of 16GB.
- For videos and pictures, the smartphone has dual cameras at the back and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. It sports an f/1.9 lens and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens that has a 113-degree field of view.
- The smartphone has a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor with an f/2.45 lens for video calls and selfies.
- ZenFone 9 has UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage of up to 256GB. Talking about the battery, the phone packs a 4,300mAh battery and has 30W fast charging.
- Asus ZenFone 9 also has biometric authentication through a fingerprint sensor, dual microphones with OZO Audio Noise Reduction Technology, dual stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
