The song marks Rashmika Mandanna and Amitabh Bachchan's final farewell to the character of Neena Gupta in the film. As Amitabh Bachchan immerses in his wife Neena Gupta's ashes, he finds peace in the presence of his family - his son (played by Pavel Gulati) and his daughter (played by Rashmika Mandanna).
The teaser showed the fractured interpersonal dynamics, yet the song Jaikal Mahakal shows how the family remains united in times of sadness. Throughout the song, Rashmika and Big B recollect their days with Neena Gupta.
Amit Trivedi and Suhas Sawant performed Jaikal Mahakal, composed by Amit Trivedi. Swanand Kirkire has written the lyrics.
