Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has returned with the seventh season of his popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan' (KWK). Hosting multiple celebrities and indulging in gossip, the show has carved its own niche and garnered many fans.

In the show's third episode, Johar invited Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as guests. On the show, Samantha gushed over Ranveer Singh and claimed that she had been 'ranveerified', a new word that she invented to describe her fascination for the actor.

Reacting to Samantha's compliments, Ranveer has shared his take. He said he met Samantha on a set while shooting for an advertisement. Ranveer praised her and said that he believes Samantha is a warm and talented person with immense energy.


He said that he met her during an ad shoot. It was then that Samantha revealed that she would be shooting for the third episode of KWK.

Ranveer also said that he appreciated Samantha as an artist and a person too. He described her as a warm, light-hearted, and humorous person. He said that he wished to do a movie with her in the future.

Ranveer also revealed his friendship with Alia Bhatt. He said he met her on the set of an ad shoot too, and then they were cast together in Gully Boy.

Over numerous interactions, Ranveer and Alia have become close friends. Currently, the two stars would be making an appearance in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. Besides Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the movie also stars Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi. Helmed by Karan Johar, the movie would be released shortly.

On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has become famous for her latest works like item number in Pushpa, etc. She has also starred in many South movies and played the antagonist in the Hindi web series 'The Family Man Season 2'. She will also be a part of the movie 'Jaanu'. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh has various Hindi movie projects lined up in the coming years.
