Allu Arjun’s iconic movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ had various popular songs, one of them being Srivalli. The song had a hook step, which became popular and trended on social media platforms as people imitated the step in their own way. The latest performer to join the bandwagon is none other than the Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh.

Ranveer Singh copied the hook step at the latest South Indian International Movie Awards 2022 (SIIMA). Needless to say, his comic take on the step was so hilarious to watch that it quickly went viral across social media platforms.

Ranveer Singh was invited to the SIIMA function as he was awarded the Most Loved Hindi Actor category in South India. As he went on stage to receive his trophy, he danced to the song Srivalli. He imitated Allu Arjun’s iconic step, even taking off his shoes.

After winning the prestigious award, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram account to express gratitude to the South Indian film industry for recognising and honouring him. In his account, Ranveer Singh stated that he was grateful to the South Indian movie fraternity for bestowing him with the award. He also thanked the fraternity for the high regard that they had given him.

Ranveer Singh’s upcoming movie is titled Cirkus, starring him, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and is a comedy, releasing on December 23, 2022. The movie would be giving competition to two other films released on the same date. One is Merry Christmas, a suspense thriller starring Vijay Sethupati and Katrina Kaif. The other is Ganapath, an action thriller starring Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff.
