Actor Anne Heche in coma, 'not expected to survive' after near-fatal car accident. Check out her troublesome life!

Actor Anne Heche, who was involved in a major car crash recently, is in a coma, Heche’s publicist said as per reports.

In a new update on her health on Thursday, Anne Heche’s team has shared that she has suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and is in critical condition. Heche is “not expected to survive”. She is being kept on life support to see if her organs can be given for donation.

At this difficult juncture of life, the actor needs privacy, and her friends hope that she would come out stronger.

In the accident, she rammed her car into a house in Los Angeles. The vehicle caught fire on impact and so did the house where she crashed it. She had to be pulled out of the burning car and rushed to the hospital.
Actor Anne Heche seems to be highly fortunate to be alive at the moment.

Alec Baldwin, who was a part of the film 'Juror' where Anne was also a co-actor had plenty of kind words for her and said that he wishes her all the love and a speedy recovery.

Anne’s blue Mini Cooper Clubman was last seen being towed away by the authorities, who were putting her in an ambulance. LAPD Tony Im confirmed that the vehicle had caught fire and the identity of the woman, an adult, was not known at that time. Anne was trapped in the car for more than an hour until the firefighters were able to get her out. There were close to 59 firefighters, who were at the crash site and it took them 65 minutes to extinguish the fire completely and rescue the woman driver.

Thankfully, there were no other injuries although the building did suffer some damage. A neighbour of the house that caught fire did try to rescue the woman but it was near impossible to fight off the fire. Anne at that time had told the man, David Manpearl that she was not ok. James Tupper, Anne’s ex-husband and father to their son Atlas, who is 13-year-old, shared an old photo on Instagram. Anne has another son Homer, who is now 20, and the father is Coleman Laffoon.

Anne became famous with her double role in “Another World”, a popular American Tv series for which she was awarded a Daytime Emmy. She also acted in popular films like “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “Six Days Seven Nights” and “Volcano” to name a few. Recent films include "All Rise," "Chicago P.D.," "The Brave" and along with Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, she recently starred in “The Idol”, which is yet to be released on HBO.

Anne Heche first came out about her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres while competing in “Dancing With the Stars” in 2020. Both were in a relationship from 1997 till 2000. Anne complained that she was traumatised at the time post her relationship and lost an opportunity to star in a multi-million dollar picture deal. She was fired from the mega film and was not able to do a studio film for the next 10 years due to the stigma that her relationship with Ellen carried. Judie Wieder the editor of Advocate said that it was traumatic for the couple as cameras followed them everywhere.
