BTS member Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V, has once again set the internet abuzz with his latest update from military service. The global superstar, who has been largely absent from social media since his enlistment, surprised fans by sharing a transformation update on Weverse. On March 23, V revealed that he had lost 10 kilograms while fulfilling his military duties.

Sharing his fitness journey, V wrote, "But recently...! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10kg... Hahahaha. I'll try harder." Along with this message, he posted several pictures showcasing his leaner physique. Dressed in a grey top, brown wide-leg pants, and a mustard-yellow beanie, V effortlessly exuded style while flaunting his toned body. In one of the images, he was seen lifting a curl barbell, giving fans a glimpse into his workout routine.

Unsurprisingly, his update caused a wave of excitement among his devoted fanbase, ARMY. Fans flooded social media with admiration, praising his dedication to maintaining his fitness despite his demanding military schedule. Military Service and Discharge Date

V enlisted for his mandatory military service in December 2023 and is currently serving alongside his BTS bandmates. South Korea requires all able-bodied men under 30 to complete military service, which typically lasts between 18 and 21 months. V is expected to be discharged on June 10, 2025, a date that coincides with BTS’ debut anniversary.

Even while serving in the military, rumors about V’s potential future projects continue to make headlines. Speculation about his involvement in the third season of Netflix’s Squid Game gained traction after an interview with BuzzFeed UK. When asked about V’s possible role, lead actor Lee Jung Jae responded cryptically, "I can’t say anything about that."

Additionally, before his enlistment, V released a photobook titled Rêve, which captured his experiences in Paris. The book’s French title translates to "dream," and V described it as a reflection of the freedom and beauty he encountered in the city.
