BTS RM shares the loss of his pet dog Moni with ARMY, reveals he is working on new album

BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon recently shared a heartbreaking personal update with his fans.

In an emotional Weverse chat with ARMY, the Korean rapper revealed he recently lost his pet dog Moni, who breathed his last three months ago. He added that his family was still recovering from the loss and he had decided to commemorate his memory, he had bought a portrait of a dog, resembling his beloved pet.

“Moni, two-three months ago, crossed the rainbow. It wasn't long, the time he was with me but he was a family member,” he told his fans.


However, he also shared some positive news with ARMY. He revealed he was working on an album and it would be released soon. “Ya, I'm planning to release another album but Taehyung's album is being released so my turn will be far next, not far away but I'm still working."

The rapper also shut down trolls. When quizzed on why he got a buzzcut, he said that it was his wish. “My hair, my choice,” he told the troll.

RM made his solo debut in 2022, with the album ‘Indigo’. For his solo debut, he collaborated with Erykah Badu and Anderson Paak. The album went to be a stupendous success, reaching the third position on the US Billboard 200 chart.

The BTS is currently on a hiatus. Three members - Jimin, Jungkook and V aka Taehyung released their solo albums. Jungkook’s debut song ‘Seven’ reached the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
