The integration of AI into mobile platforms has often felt like a series of disjointed features, but with the new AI Plus Mind system, OnePlus has created a cohesive, intelligent framework. This new suite of tools is designed to make managing digital information on your device more intuitive and less of a chore.

While the Plus Key available across OnePlus 13S and the Nord 5 elevates the experience using these features, OnePlus allows other ways as well to utilise them.

1. Capture and Organize with a Single Tap

AI Plus Mind allows users to quickly save on-screen information with minimal effort. A dedicated Plus Key (a customizable hardware button) or a three-finger swipe can capture data instantly whether it’s schedules, reservations, or event details.


All this information is stored in Mind Space, an app where AI automatically categorizes content and highlights the important parts for easier access later. For example, flight details from an email confirmation can be stored without needing to copy and paste, and a restaurant booking from a text message is sorted into the right category with a single tap.

2. AI Search: Natural, Conversational Queries

The system also integrates a conversational search function. Instead of manually scrolling through notes or files, users can type or ask questions in natural language. For instance:

“Show me my flight details from last month”
“Find my meeting notes from yesterday”
“Where did I save my hotel booking?”

The AI then scans across Mind Space, notes, files, and even system settings to retrieve the requested information.

3. Smart Suggestions Based on Context

AI Plus Mind doesn’t just store data it interprets it. When it detects useful information, it suggests actions. For example, saving a concert ticket screenshot could trigger a prompt to add the event to your calendar. A doctor’s appointment mentioned in a message might result in a suggestion to create a reminder.
