Citing court documents, TMZ reported that Bridget filed for divorce in Riverside County, California, back in 2025 due to "irreconcilable differences." The couple share five kids, including two minor kids, Zoe, 17, and Dean, 16. According to the outlet, Bridget listed the marriage date as October 27, 2001. The date of separation has been stated as January 15, 2025.
Bridget seeks custody of the kids
According to the court filing, Bridget has sought joint legal and physical custody of their kids and spousal support, TMZ reported. Besides this, she has also requested the court to determine their rights to any property acquired during the course of the marriage.
Apparently, it took months for the ‘Death Wish’ actor to respond, but there was no update on whether the case was finalized yet at the time of filing of this report.
Dean and Bridget filed for bankruptcy
Besides the divorce battle, Dean and Bridget are also entangled in bankruptcy proceedings. They are in the middle of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy for their restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, TMZ reported, citing court documents. It is located in Temecula, California, and the couple bought it in 2022.
According to the bankruptcy documents, Dean said the restaurant experienced a sharp drop of $1 million in gross revenue from 2024 to 2025. This is believed to be because of the decline in social media attention.
