K-drama Boyfriend on Demand teaser out
The clip opens by addressing people who feel exhausted by life and tired of real-world dating but still long for romance. It then introduces Jisoo’s character, Seo Mi-rae, as she chooses to step into a virtual space where relationships seem easier to manage. Boyfriend on Demand will stream on Netflix, making it accessible to viewers in India and worldwide. The platform confirmed that the series will premiere on March 6, 2026, and will consist of 10 episodes. Netflix also released the 50-second teaser through its official social media handles, officially announcing the release date and building anticipation among fans of both lead actors.
Directed by Kim Jung-sik, the series follows Seo Mi-rae, a hardworking webtoon producer who signs up for a subscription-based virtual dating service. Through this program, she can go on dates in carefully designed digital worlds without dealing with the emotional risks of real-life relationships.
Seo In-guk plays Park Kyeong-nam, a virtual boyfriend who checks all of Mi-rae’s boxes, from charm and manners to emotional attentiveness. As teased in the preview, his presence makes it harder for Mi-rae to stay grounded in reality.
