Boxing and business: When Vijender Singh met Subrata Roy
The businessman in trouble might have rejected a $1.3 billion equity deal for his three hotels in London and New York, but Subrata Roy is all smiles facing the camera with boxer Vijender Singh. Not seen much in the public eye since his bail in May, Roy’s hairdo coincidentally mirrors Singh’s spiky cut.

The boxer, meanwhile, seems to be only too glad to be seen with the Sahara boss.

The Sahara group is looking to sell the Grosvenor House in London and the Plaza and Dream Downtown hotels in New York to deposit the Rs 10,000 crore bail amount set by the court to keep Roy out of jail.
