"I had invested in mutual funds and when the market dropped, I panicked and pulled out. I should have let it stay I wouldn't have lost as much!"

The house also reflects her commitment to sustainability. In an interview cited by Cosmopolitan India, Dia explained how reclaimed materials were used in the home. Referring to a wooden dinner wagon made from reclaimed wood, she said, "I just feel happy that we could make use of wood that was abandoned, put it to effective use, and make something beautiful out of it."

The actor has also incorporated waste segregation systems and other environmentally conscious practices into her daily life.
