Born in Kerala, NIFT Delhi graduate joins Gigi and Bella Hadid at Victoria's Secret Fashion show debut. Who is Ravleen Varghese?

Ravleen Varghese, a Kerala-based model, has recently grabbed the spotlight after she stepped onto one of fashion industry's most recognisable runways. She marked a major milestone in her international career as she made her debut at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026 and shared the stage with renowned models like Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Adriana Lima.

Ravleen is from Kodumon in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, where she did not grow up dreaming to become a model one day. However, her journey began after she moved to Delhi's one of the reputed institute, NIFT.

From NIFT- Delhi to the Victoria's Secret runway

As per her LinkedIn bio, Ravleen Varghese has studied at NIFT-Delhi. From there, she paved the path to her journey as a model and walking on the runway of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which was held at Sony Pictures Studios in California's Culver City. But was it a childhood dream of hers to become a model?

In a 2025 interview with The Nod, the Kerala-born model explained that modelling had never been part of her childhood ambitions. Growing up, she felt the profession was too far-fetched to imagine as a career. It changed when she was scouted at the ageof 18, shortly after relocating to Delhi to study at NIFT.

Her major breakthrough was when she walked for Prabal Gurung's 2025 Spring/Summer collection at New York Fashion Week, an experience she called a "total pinch-me moment". Just a year later, she walked at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The Malayalam music ritual

Despite the spotlight and hectic schedule, she likes to stick to a few simple habits that helps her prepare for her work. In her The Nod interview, she had mentioned sleep being the crucial part of her pre-show routine. She tries to get atleast seven to eight hours of sleep.

Ravleen Varghese loves to wake up to the tunes of her favourite Malayalam songs and dances while she does her skincare routine. nd what makes her feel bold? According to Ravleen, its all about wearing an outfit that makes you feel confident and bold.
