Border 2 box office collection: Sunny Deol-Varun Dhawan's epic war movie beats Dhurandhar, opens on a strong note on day 1

The much-awaited war drama Border 2 finally arrived in cinemas on Friday, drawing large crowds across the country. Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, the film opened to strong audience interest and encouraging early box-office trends. Overall Hindi occupancy for the film stood at 32.10%, with night shows recording the highest numbers at 48.06%, suggesting positive word of mouth and walk-in audiences driving late-evening shows.

However, it fell short of the massive opening record of Gadar 2, which remains one of the biggest box office debuts in recent years.
