LONDON: Pop star Zayn Malik has revealed he learnt lessons of love as a child after watching 1995 Bollywood romantic drama " Bombay".

Malik, 22, who recently quit boy band One Direction, said he has aways known about love since the tender age of ten, thanks to Manisha Koirala-starrer film, his favourite as a child, reported the Daily Mirror.

"I was a lover boy around the age of ten. I always had an idea from an early age what it was like to be in love - it was only later I figured it out!" he said.

Malik, who is engaged to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, insisted he was doing "alright" since leaving the group with whom he found fame on the 2010 series of the 'X Factor'.
