Body odour okay with men in bedroom, not boardroom
The 'New Indian Male Odour Study' throws light on the Indian man's acceptance level of body odour in his personal and professional space.

Stinky partner okay for sex
According to the report, body odour is no constraint for Indian men when it comes to sex. Seemingly, getting action is more important. Women disagree. The female respondents feel that if their male partners had BO, "the sex too would become an ordeal and lead to lower sexual desire in them". But for the men, "it is about the sex and that's all that matters." They have no qualms about having sex with a partner who smells.
Boardrooms must be odour free
But at the workplace, men don't have the same accommodating viewpoint. Over 91 per cent respondents feel that organisations should take responsibility and create body odour tests at the recruitment stage itself. Many even feel that colleagues with BO should be fired. Where bosses are concerned, though, no one's ready to bell the cat. People advocated "the creation of an anonymous feedback system within organisations, where they could complain either directly to the culprit or then bring it to the notice of relevant people".
