Blessed, grateful & excited: Swara Bhasker expecting her first child with politician-husband Fahad Ahmad, shows off baby bump

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker shared happy news on Tuesday with her fans on Twitter as the 35-year-old announced that she is expecting her first child with politician-husband Fahad Ahmad.

Bhasker took to the microblogging platform where she revealed that the power couple's baby is due in October.

"Sometimes all your prayers are answered all together! Blessed, grateful, excited (and clueless! ) as we step into a whole new world! @FahadZirarAhmad #comingsoon #Family #Newarrival #gratitude #OctoberBaby," the actress wrote.


The actress shared the news on Twitter and also tagged her husband Ahmad, who is the state president of Samajwadi Party's youth wing -- Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha.

The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star tied the knot with the political leader in February this year. In her post, Bhasker also shared pictures of her with Ahmad cradling her baby bump. In the picture, we see the mommy-to-be dolled up in a pink frilled dress as she leans against husband Fahad.

Several Bollywood personalities and fans congratulated Bhasker and Fahad on Instagram as she shared the good news with the world that the two are expecting their first baby together.
In March, the couple celebrated their wedding in a proper ceremony with mehendi, sangeet and qawwali. Bhasker and Fahad later had a reception in Mumbai and Delhi where several people from films and politics attended the celebrations.

Bhasker was last seen in the buddy comedy film ‘Jahaan Chaar Yaar’ (2022).

After their marriage, Bhasker had shared a video montage honouring the history of their relationship together as she announced her union with Fahad on social media.
