Blast from the past: Shekhar Kapur reminisces about days in front of the camera, sharing screen space with Dimple Kapadia

Film-maker Shekhar Kapur has for years enthralled audiences with his directorial skills, giving us masterpieces like 'Masoom', 'Mr India' and 'Bandit Queen'. But before Kapur went completed behind the camera, he had a few stints in front of it too.
The director took a walk down memory lane, on Wednesday, remembering acting in the 1990 film 'Drishti' alongside veteran actress Dimple Kapadia.
The 75-year-old took to Instagram to share a picture from the film, with the caption, "In Drishti. With the ever beautiful Dimple Kapadia. One of my very few forays as an actor. A lovely film on human relationships by Govind Nihilani."
The film also feature Irrfan Khan and Mita Vashisht.
Among Kapur's screen appearances was also the popular TV series 'Khandan' in the 1980s.
